Todor leads user acquisition and user engagement across both sides of the JOB TODAY marketplace. Todor manages marketing activities including digital and ATL channels and works closely with media partners across Europe.
With 10 years of experience in digital marketing and an MSc degree from Cass Business School on London, Todor previously worked with both technology startups and established brands in retail, travel, SaaS and even political parties. Immediately before joining JOB TODAY, Todor worked at WPP to build and manage a new performance marketing team of 10 people for Ford of Europe and their 1000s strong retail dealership network. He was responsible for 8 figure acquisition budgets across search & social, leading to increasing Ford’s dealership footfall by 30% while decreasing costs.
Todor also helped the UK’s largest online letting agent, Upad, to improve the CVR of their onboarding and checkout funnel by more than 120%, and he established the foundations for a CRO product offering for the digital agency Steak.
Rebecca leads the digital team at Premier League club Swansea City. She is responsible for the new digital platforms introduced at the club within the last 12 months, including a new official website and two mobile apps.
She recently introduced in-app ticketing to the club, which was a first for UK football, plus a separate app focusing on athlete welfare for the players and backroom staff. The club was recently shortlisted in two categories in the Global Sports Technology Awards for ‘Best Technology in Fan Engagement’ and ‘Best Technology in Athlete Welfare’.
Rebecca has over 10 years digital marketing experience working with some of the world’s largest brands such as Amazon and Yell.
Edouard is driving growth at Hoop, an award-winning mobile app that helps families find and book what’s on for kids.
Launched in 2016 in London, the app has rapidly expanded nationwide to become the UK’s #1 parenting app with over 600,000 families regularly Hooping to discover new and fun things to do. Hoop has been chosen by Apple as one of the Best Apps of the Year for two years running.
Sam joined Snap as the founding member of Snapchat’s EMEA SMB team in October 2016. Prior to joining Snap Sam worked with SMB clients at both Google and Facebook.
Sam brings a wealth of expertise in the digital advertising landscape and can advise on the strategies that can drive success across all verticals, for businesses of all sizes. As Snapchat’s SMB Lead Sam can also help businesses in the region navigate new platforms and exceed their performance goals.
Eliza is an acquisition strategist for Casumo, managing product marketing and strategy for the Casumo apps.
She previously worked at T-Me Studios as a growth marketer for personalisation apps and has 8 years experience as a digital performance strategist in the web services and antivirus industries.
Eliza has held roles at 1&1, BullGuard, Avira and AdaptiveBee and also acted as a consultant for startups and NGOs in various industries from retail to moving services.
Gerry strives to improve Just Eat’s organic performance globally, working on projects with partners such as Google and managing agency relationships.
Just Eat was named one of the UK’s top 100 fastest growing companies in organic visibility (SISTRIX) in 2016 and visibility continued rise through 2017.
Gerry has worked with the BBC, McDonalds, Weight Watchers, BHS, Gordon Ramsey and Premier Inn.
James has over a decade of digital and mobile marketing experience. He is currently CEO & Co-Founder of The ASO Co, the world’s leading App Store Optimization agency. The ASO Co counts eBay, Spotify, Walmart, Sephora, Trivago, Twitter, Lifesum and many others as their clients. All work is focused on improving visibility, conversion rates and organic growth within the app stores globally.
Prior to founding The ASO Co, James was Director of Global Business Development at a leading performance focused mobile media agency. Here he led the commercial team working directly with many clients including Alibaba, OpenTable, Skyscanner and others on acquisition, retention and monetization strategies.
Previous to this, James founded, ran and sold two successful eCommerce businesses in the retail and entertainment space.
Lucy is the Marketing Director at Yolt, the smart thinking money app by ING that makes managing personal finances clear and easy. Yolt reached 100,000 registered app users in less than 6 months of Open Beta in the UK.
A data-driven marketer with 14 years’ experience, Lucy has successfully launched two mobile apps. Prior to joining Yolo she was Head of Growth at Starling Bank. Lucy has also held senior roles at Yubl, Y&R, Saatchi & Saatchi and Skype.
David Montiel is the CEO and creator of Beelinguapp, an award winning and Google’s “Editors Choice” language learning app and one of the top 5 language learning apps on Google Play. Beelinguapp reached 450,000 organic users in its first year.
David previously worked at Google and LinkedIn as a software developer and is currently Senior Android Developer at eBay’s Berlin office, building the eBay Kleinanzeigen app.
George is ASO manager at Shpock, one of the most downloaded classifieds apps across Europe. Launched in 2012, the startup has led the trend of mobile second hand shopping in Germany and Austria before creating a similar impact in the UK, Italy, Sweden and Norway. Shpock’s mission is to build the best marketplace for the smartphone generation.
With more than 12 years of working experience in different multinational organizations such as the UN, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Zalando, Nielsen and GFK, George has successfully conceptualized, developed and led marketing & sales initiatives. During his time at Zalando he was involved in ASO projects for several of the company’s apps, leading to significant visibility, conversion rate and installs growth on Google Play/App Store. At Coca-Cola George ran category management projects for the Russian subsidiary, leading to sales growth in modern trade. At Microsoft he was heavily involved with marketing activity optimization of the Russian subsidiary, leading to significant savings.
George is passionate about ASO and believes that it is the present and future of mobile growth.
Daniel joined Avis Budget group in 2017. He oversees user acquisition, retention, re-engagement, analytics and overall mobile marketing strategy.
Previously, Daniel was in charge of mobile apps at liligo.com (part of eDreams ODIGEO) and was responsible for product marketing and user acquisition at mobile game publisher Pocket Games.
After 5 years of digital marketing experience in Hong Kong and an MA in Digital Humanities at King’s College London, Angela joined Laundrapp, one of the fastest growing startups in the UK. She spent over 2 years with Laundrapp as Head of Marketing and grew the company’s revenue with performance marketing since its launch. Laundrapp was chosen as App of the Year at the 2016 Startups Awards.
Angela now oversees the marketing department at Syft, the UK’s leading online flexible staffing platform, with a focus on user acquisition for both B2B and B2C.
Ryan leads SEO & ASO across 47 languages for the world’s largest dating site/app, Badoo. He also looks after numerous other brands, including Bumble.
Before joining Badoo Ryan was Head of Marketing at Oddschecker, the UK’s #1 odds comparison site, and previously held senior roles at Rank Group and Paddy Power Betfair.
David is currently working on a next generation classifieds product and platform at Schibsted, an international media group with 7,300 employees in 22 countries.
David has been involved in the search space since 2007 when he launched his own search agency in Brisbane, Australia. During that time he worked with his own clients and several agencies on some of the country’s biggest brands.
In 2013 David relocated to Amsterdam to join the eBay Classifieds Group as SEO Product Manager for Marktplats.nl & 2dehands.be, the leading classifieds sites in their respective markets of the Netherlands & Belgium. His role involved improving visibility within the Apple and Google Play app stores.
As a Product Growth Manager at MoPub, Tarika focuses on encouraging adoption of engaging ad formats such a video, native, MRAID and data at scale.The product growth team stays abreast with the dynamically changing in-app eco-system by keeping a pulse on competitors and following industry trends to innovate accordingly. We find creative ways of growing existing partnerships with programmatic buyers & sellers along with identifying new business opportunities for MoPub to invest in.
Prior to joining MoPub, Tarika was heading up the Mobile Customer Success team in EMEA for Twitter and TapCommerce, where she was tasked with growing a portfolio of top 30 grossing mobile app accounts in EMEA. Tarika studied Marketing & International Business at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
James co-founded App Promotion Summit in 2013. Previously, he was The Guardian’s Head of Strategy and worked as a strategy consultant to the world’s leading media and telecoms organisations.
James holds a BA in History from the London School of Economics and an MA in Management from Durham University.
Rory has over 20 years of experience at the commercial coalface of mobile and advertising. Having worked at This is Global, BBC and Vodafone in a sales capacity, Rory’s understanding of technology has been directly linked with the delivery of new commercial formats, ranging from the first popup banner ads at beeb.com to a pizza being bought on a mobile phone and charging your phone bill.
Rory founded Redbox Mobile, a full-service ASO agency with over 30 employees and offices in London and New York, in 2013. Redbox Mobile delivers every aspect of ASO, from app preview video, metadata and scripting to icon/screenshot design, ratings and reviews, link building and A/B testing.
Rory has a Degree in Business and Marketing from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland.
Inga is the Head of Customer Success at Appsumer, a revolutionary unified analytics platform for performance marketing teams.
9 years of solid marketing experience has provided Inga with a deep understanding of the complex intricacies of mobile attribution, analytics and ad fraud. She has led performance marketing for an abundance of diverse clients whilst working at 2 of the largest global mobile agencies.
Fiona oversees the marketing strategy for TodayTix, the first and only free app that provides access to the best prices on last-minute theatre tickets, booked same-day or within a week’s time.
Prior to TodayTix, Fiona held senior roles at agencies including STEEL London and 360 Degrees Advertising.
Gary Danks is one of mobile advertising’s original veterans, having taken leadership roles at some high-profile platforms since 2004. This includes five years as Managing Director at mobile advertising platform YOC and the Head of Mobile Advertising at UK broadcaster ITV.
In 2015, Gary founded Machine. Machine has since become the industry’s only platform exclusively dedicated to stopping fraudulent app installs.
Since launching Machine, Gary and his team have uncovered the sheer scale of the app install fraud problem. He has consequently made it Machine’s mission to help marketers to stop paying for fraudulent app installs.
Dan is UK Managing Director at Touchnote, the world’s most popular postcard-sending service. Started in 2008 in London, Touchnote’s iOS and Android apps have been downloaded by over 3 million customers.
Previously, Dan co-founded Uncover, the award-winning premium restaurant reservation app, which was acquired by Velocity in 2015. Prior to that, he was an M&A lawyer in the technology sector, in addition to roles at PayPal Europe in Paris and VC fund Index Ventures in London.
Dan is an advisor and board member in several early and late stage startups, mentors at Techstars London and is a founding member of Founders of the Future. Dan completed his MBA at London Business School.
As Global Head of Organic Acquisition at DOCOMO Digital, Charo is solely responsible for App Store Optimization, SEO & digital analytics. She manages the inbound marketing strategy, design and implementation for all DOCOMO Digital and Thumbspire native apps and web apps in 26 countries worldwide.
Pablo Penny is a consultant at the mobile growth consultancy Phiture. He has conducted ASO for clients such as Skyscanner, Axel Springer and Idagio. He also conducts mobile research to develop more analytical ASO methods and mobile growth strategies.
Pablo holds a PhD in innovation management from the University of Westminster where he researched startups and lectured on entrepreneurship. He has experience in tech and strategy consulting and is passionate about growing startups and other businesses through mobile strategy, data analytics and ASO.
Olivier is in charge of acquisition at Molotov TV, a new distribution service on a mission to reinvent how audiences watch television.
Olivier’s experience includes senior roles at Wooga, BetClic Everest and Google.
Working in digital marketing for more than seven years, Thiago has a vast experience in multiple disciplines of paid media ranging from display to social paid advertising.
He is currently leading user acquisition at Peak Labs, the company behind Peak – Brain Training, the number 1 brain training app on mobile.
Prior to joining Peak Labs Thiago led the mobile marketing team at Treatwell, focussing solely on growing the customer base of the Treatwell app. This growth entailed increasing the number of downloads whilst ensuring that activation from new customers remained at least 15%.
Diego co-founded Jampp in 2013 – the company is a performance marketing platform for retargeting and acquiring app customers. Jampp combines behavioural data with predictive and programmatic technology to generate revenue for advertisers by showing personal, relevant ads that inspire consumers to purchase for the first time, or more often. Jampp’s person team serves a global client base from offices in San Francisco, Singapore, London, Berlin, São Paulo, Cape Town and Buenos Aires.
Previously, in the year 2000, Diego co-founded and ran Livra.com which became the leading online market research company in Latin America. In 2008, after continuous growth the company was acquired by publicly listed IPSOS – one of the top market research organisations worldwide.
Carla is Product Manager at TUI, the world’s number one integrated tourism business with 20 million customers per year. As the owner of Search and Book for the mobile apps, Carla is ultimately responsible for growing the Sales of the TUI App which is available in 10 countries and 8 languages.
Carla initially joined TUI in 2014 as part of the International Graduate Programme and worked in several departments and countries across the Group before joining the mobile team.
Timothy is helping to develop Gameloft’s UA strategy. His team is creating a set of internal tools to automate UA buying, analysis and optimisation of networks, publishers and creatives, to be used across Gameloft and eventually Vivendi.
In his past roles Timothy strategised, implemented and analysed performance marketing campaigns for clients including Amazon, eBay, Burger King, Rovio, EA Games, Ubisoft and Wallapop.
Olivier is the CEO & Co-Founder of AppTweak, empowering app developers and marketers with tools and techniques to improve their app store visibility, increase app rankings and drive organic downloads. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Brussels, AppTweak manages over 600 accounts in more than 60 countries, including Rocket Internet, FoodPanda, Zalando, Samsung, LinkedIn, Etsy, Merkle, RunKeeper, S4M and Foodora.
He is also the Co-Founder of Wooclap, a user-friendly application to engage live audiences, and 87 Seconds, a creative and dedicated motion design platform.
Olivier acts as a Business Angel at Qualifio and is a professor in Entrepreneurship at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
Daniel Peris is the CEO and Co-Founder of PickASO and TheTool – the first performance-based ASO tool developed in Spain by specialists with more than 10 years of experience in digital marketing and startups.
Daniel has been working in SEO since 2007 and ASO since 2013 and has optimized over 300 apps across different verticals including banking, retail, entertainment and gaming.
Hannah Graham is an experienced commercial leader, having spent 12 years in a variety of senior roles across the media industry, including TV, digital and mobile.
Hannah started her career at Virgin Media, where she was Agency Sales Group Head. She went on to specialise in mobile, leading the UK Sales team at mobile advertising platform YOC for five years.
In 2015, Hannah was part of the leadership team that launched Machine, the industry’s most robust platform for stopping app install fraud. Leading the commercial team, Hannah remains at the vanguard of app install fraud prevention, whilst also playing an integral role in the development of the company’s positioning, product suite and go-to-market strategy.
Clement is COO & Managing Director Germany at Adikteev, a mobile DSP for brands and app developers. Launched in 2012, the startup is the mobile marketing platform for delivering ROI through a unique combination of stateofthe-art creative technology, data and artificial intelligence.
Clement is responsible for operation of the app retargeting business at Adikteev, and managing the Berlin office. Prior to joining Adikteev, Clement worked as a managing consultant at Capgemini Consulting and as a marketing and business intelligence analyst for the French company Solocal.
Katerina is Marketing & Customer Success Manager at TheTool, a powerful and easy-to-use platform for tracking and optimizing ASO KPIs in over 90 countries.
With over 3 years of experience in digital marketing (both web and mobile) Katerina loves sharing knowledge about App Store Optimization and mobile growth, and helps developers and marketers improve their app marketing strategy.
Timothy Armoo is the 23-year-old CEO of Fanbytes, the world’s largest Snapchat influencer network helping brands like Universal, Warner and Sony to reach Generation Z through a programmatic influencer network.
Timothy found success with the first two businesses he launched whilst still a teenager; a tutoring business he began aged 14, and a media company he sold to a US company aged 17. This success has not gone unrecognised, as he went on to win a Black British Business Award in the ‘Arts & Media Rising Star’ category and a ‘Young Entrepreneur’ award from the Huffington Post.
Christian helps Leanplum clients make their mobile application experience better. Working at the leading mobile engagement platform means working side-by-side with marketers, product owners, developers and business leaders across industries to help drive engagement and growth for clients including Macy’s, Nordstrom, Wanelo and Frank + Oak.
Christian joined Leanplum over two years ago and has enjoyed a variety of roles in technology at various Silicon Valley enterprises and startups. With over 10 years of SaaS experience Christian loves being part of the cross-section of new technology and user behaviour.
Rob is the Senior Product Manager for Growth at Deliveroo, a technology company focused on marketing, selling and delivering restaurant meals to the household or office.
Before joining Deliveroo Rob worked as a Digital Technology Consultant for Accenture, crafting and delivering digital products for clients including Discovery Networks International and EDF Energy.
Martin is the Marketing Analyst at AppAgent, the mobile marketing agency providing 360° services to clients such as Wooga, Malwarebytes and BNP Paribas. Recently, he helped relaunch the NY-based startup Inscape where he also built custom product and marketing analytics. These days he’s helping to scale the business for game developers such as Gold Town Games and the online travel agency Kiwi.com through solid ROI prediction.
Prior to joining AppAgent, Martin created an action RPG for PC, Mac and mobile called Nyrthos. He’s a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague.
Thomas has a decade of experience in digital marketing, the past 5 years focused solely on mobile.
Prior to launching The ASO Co Thomas was Head of Strategy at M&C Saatchi Mobile, where he led global mobile strategies for the likes of Microsoft, Amazon, JUST EAT, MixRadio, Time Out, Zoopla and John Lewis. In this role he covered everything from acquisition strategy, customer and market research, and ASO.
Nick has spent 15 years working as a marketer in everything from multi-nationals to startups, betting apps to software companies. After all these years making big data-driven decisions, Nick has seen the impact of machine learning on marketing success… ‘could the bots be better for the job than us humans?!’. He is now on a quest to show start-ups and established companies how to build automation into their business, getting ahead of the curve and sharing his knowledge on how to become a master of Learning Machines.
Based in London, Paul leads AppsFlyer’s growth and expansion in the UK, France and MEA markets.
Paul has worked in the online marketing industry for over 20 years, building and shaping businesses for some of the world’s largest agencies, advertisers and technologies including CAKE, TradeDoubler and MEC.
Olay is a mobile growth expert, helping ambitious startups grow customers and revenues. She has worked with over 20 apps and games including The Economist, Readly and Wowcher.
Mark Beck is a social casino expert and has helped scale some of the largest apps in the genre (Scatter Slots, Nat Geo Wild, Heart of Vegas, FaFaFa, etc.). Mark specializes in user acquisition, finance, mergers & acquisition, business development and in-game optimization. Mark works for Murka (the 10th largest and fastest growing social casino company) after nearly 10 years at Aristocrat.
Mick is the founder and CEO of Yodel Mobile, one of the early movers in the mobile marketing space. Founded in 2007, Yodel Mobile is a full-service app marketing agency offering global marketing support for app businesses. Most notably is its award-winning Fit to Market service, which offers a holistic approach to app marketing with the aim of acquiring, engaging and retaining high-value organic users. This includes essential strategies such as organic discoverability, ASO, app virality, onboarding, mCRM and testing. In total, Mick has over 25 years as a strategist in the marketing and advertising world.
Andrew is the founder of intelligence agency ikooloo, his fourth startup. ikooloo helps small business owners understand and grow their businesses by providing metrics and insights from the apps we use every day. His previous startup, Clicktools, was bootstrapped from 3 to over 50 people and was partly acquired by SurveyMonkey before being fully acquired by Callidus.
Andrew also mentors new startups through Virgin Startups and Barclays Eagle Labs.
