Luca Giacomel is a data scientist with a strong entrepreneurial attitude and interest for product growth. After graduating he founded his first startup, PolicyBrain, where he analyzed parliamentary data and made predictions on vote results for lobbyists and big companies. Later he joined Bending Spoons as a data scientist, where he is currently also helping out with App Store Optimization and User Acquisition.
Anna is currently responsible for app CRM at Quandoo, the world’s fastest growing restaurant reservation platform, where she conducts strategic planning of app retention related activities.
Anna was previously involved in the marketing and CRM activities of multiple startups, including Caesium and Hudday. She has also worked with subsidiaries of big tech companies in the Eurasian area, like Rosetta Stone and Blackboard.
Coming from an academic background, Anna has a PhD degree in linguistics, specializing in cognitive and pragmatic aspects of dialogic love discourse.
Jegor Ivanov works as the Growth Product Manager at Jodel, the hyperlocal app that lets you instantly engage with the community around you. In his current role, he focuses on acquisition through virality and activation.
His past experience includes online marketing at Rocket Internet, Crowd Mobile, and most recently, mobile CRM at 8fit. With over 6 years of experience across 5 countries, he is a startup aficionado with expertise in eCommerce in emerging markets, health & fitness and entertainment verticals.
Aitor currently works at HelloFresh as the Global Mobile CRM Manager, where he is in charge of mobile strategy across countries working closely with Product, Marketing, Tech and Business Development.
Prior to HelloFresh, Aitor worked with Foodora on their CRM strategy and at InterNations in their online marketing team.
John is currently launching a new startup.
John was previously responsible for product and engineering at Dubsmash, the fast-growing video messaging app with over 175 million users in more than 100 countries.
Prior to joining Dubsmash John founded two startups and held senior roles at Groupon and McKinsey & Company. A self-taught iOS developer, he is bad at Objective-C and worse at Swift.
Sandra Wu is a performance marketer who specializes in content marketing. She currently works at Blinkist, a reading app that delivers the essence of big ideas from nonfiction books in minutes.

With 13 years of experience as a marketing specialist and a 6-year stint at various start-ups, Thomas is a passionate practitioner of ASO experiments.
He is a part of the growth team at 8fit, a Top 25 grossing app for health & fitness with over one million users.
Christian started his mobile marketing career at Delivery Hero in Berlin. His initial focus was on the mobile media buying side when he was in charge of performance app marketing for the German market brands of Delivery Hero. Subsequent roles included responsibility for mobile CRM and product management for the company’s international app business.
After several years working in the Berlin startup-scene Christian co-founded Customlytics in early 2016 with former Delivery Hero colleague Raul Truckenbrodt. Customlytics provides hands-on guidance for all topics around mobile app marketing, analytics and technology.
Ekaterina is responsible for App Store Optimization, mobile Search Engine Optimization and app indexing at Rocket Internet.
Wolfgang has been driving the growth of mobile games for more than 5 years. He has worked on small games as well as big titles with 50+ million downloads. As a data-driven marketer, his expertise is the optimisation of the complete marketing funnel, from the first ad impression through app stores and into the game.

It currently has 391 million users signed up to its platform, which operates in 190 countries and is available in 47 different languages.
Previous to Badoo, Ira did business for Avazu Holdings running UA projects for companies like Amazon, Lazada, OLX, Namshi, IGG, Square Enix, Playrix, GameLoft and SocialPoint.
George is the ASO manager at Shpock, one of the most downloaded classifieds apps across Europe. Launched in 2012, the startup has led the trend of mobile second hand shopping in Germany and Austria before creating a similar impact in the United Kingdom, Italy, Sweden and Norway. Shpock’s mission is to build the best marketplace for the smartphone generation.
With more than 13 years of working experience in different multinational organizations such as the UN, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Zalando, Nielsen and GFK, George has successfully conceptualized, developed and led marketing & sales initiatives. During his time at Zalando he was involved in ASO projects for several of the company’s apps, leading to significant visibility, conversion rate and installs growth on Google Play/App Store. At Coca-Cola George was running category management projects for the Russian subsidiary, leading to sales growth in modern trade. At Microsoft he was heavily involved with marketing activity optimization of the Russian subsidiary, leading to significant savings.

Lorenzo leads app marketing & user growth strategy at Free2Move, the largest aggregator of mobility services including cars, scooters and bicycles.
Before joining Free2Move Lorenzo managed user acquisition and retention for Zalando’s fleek app and contributed in scaling LOVOO’s growth from ~4 to 50 million users.
Dennis started out in online marketing 7 years ago at performance marketing agency Blue Summit and has been with InnoGames for 4 years. He joined InnoGames with a strong background in data-driven search and display marketing in the eCommerce environment, bringing experience with customer journey attribution, various web analytics and bid management solutions to the table.
When InnoGames’ focus shifted from desktop to mobile, Dennis worked on the transition towards mobile UA as well. In the last 2 years he successfully grew InnoGames’ Apple Search Ads and, more recently, Google Ads to new heights.
Marina is in charge of Growth at Mimi Hearing Technologies, an mHealth company with the mission to develop smartphone based tools for people around the world to hear better.
She has 10 years of international marketing experience, ranging from large corporations to agencies and startups. Prior to Mimi Marina was responsible for international user growth strategy at FAMILO, Europe’s most popular location messenger app.
Dr Florian Plenge is the Co-Founder and CEO of Berlin-based startup Skoove, a piano-learning platform that analyses, through a computer’s microphone, whether music students are hitting the right notes. Since its launch in November 2015, Skoove (a product of Microsoft Ventures Berlin accelerator) has provided over 200,000 lessons to consumers learning piano, from beginners to players with existing experience, in 187 countries.
With over 10 years of experience in the music industry, including multiple roles at Native Instruments (a leading manufacturer of software and hardware for music production and DJing), Florian co-founded Skoove with his colleague Stephan Schulz in 2014. Rory has a Degree in Business and Marketing from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland.

Raul’s mobile marketing career began in 2014 at pizza.de, the market leader at that time for online food delivery in Germany. He was responsible for product marketing and development of the Android and iOS apps. When pizza.de was acquired by Delivery Hero Raul relocated to Berlin and held roles in mobile app tracking, analytics and data warehousing. He was responsible for setting and rolling out standards and best practices across all Delivery Hero ventures at a global scale.
Raul co-founded Customlytics in early 2016 with former Delivery Hero colleague Christian Eckhardt, where he is now concerned with everything related to app marketing from a technical perspective.
James co-founded App Promotion Summit in 2013. Previously, he was The Guardian’s Head of Strategy and worked as a strategy consultant to the world’s leading media and telecoms organisations.
James holds a BA in History from the London School of Economics and an MA in Management from Durham University.
