Marie-Anne is responsible for all paid social media and mobile marketing activities at HelloFresh, in all the company’s markets. She plans and executes scaling strategies and manages the allocation of a 7-digit monthly budget. HelloFresh is the #1 meal kit delivery service globally and the #1 fastest growing company in Europe according to the Financial Times, with revenues over €600 million in 2016.
Prior to HelloFresh, Marie-Anne acted as Team Lead Mobile Marketing for Bonial.com’s US operations. The role included full responsibility for all app promotion activities in the US market and the management of an 8-digit yearly budget. Marie-Anne was a key member of the cross-functional growth hacking team that drove double-digit uplift in user retention.
Noam is the Head of Growth at YEAY, a revolutionary app that allows buying and selling with videos. His team is responsible for driving user acquisition, onboarding and retention across all platforms (iOS, Android and web). His work involves driving global growth using data prediction models, powerful backend systems, hacking growth marketing, and developing user facing features.
Previously Noam was the Product Manager for the Growth Team at SoundCloud. He was also a film producer and director, and a researcher in the field of social neuroscience.
Moritz is the co-founder of Phiture, a mobile growth consultancy in Berlin. He’s also the author of a 370-page book on Advanced ASO (asoebook.com) and manages the ASO Stack site & Slack group.
Between the age of 17 and 23, Moritz founded and sold two online gaming companies. After selling his second company, he finished his masters of European Law at the Ludwig-Maximillian-Universität in Munich. In 2014 he joined SoundCloud doing App Store Optimization and quickly moved on to accept a broader Growth PM role.
In 2016 Moritz started Phiture along with industry veteran Andy Carvell. Phiture helps brands such as Skyscanner and Headspace identify and execute on growth opportunities.
Dave Bell is the Co-Founder and CEO of Gummicube. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the business strategy for the company, driving growth and market development.
Dave is a pioneer of the mobile entertainment industry with more than 15 years of experience publishing, marketing and distributing mobile applications and games across carriers, direct to consumers and via app store channels.
Adeline Lee is the Director of Product at Clue, one of the world’s most popular female health apps. With 10 years of experience in telecommunications and tech, she currently focuses on both marketing (ASO, localization and digital marketing) and product (definition, conceptualization, implementation and messaging strategy).
Adeline previously worked as the Director of Global Partnerships for Telenor Group based out of Bangkok, leading social media partnerships with companies such as Facebook, Twitter and Wikipedia.
Olivier is the CEO & Co-Founder of AppTweak, empowering app developers and marketers with tools and techniques to improve their app store visibility, increase app rankings and drive organic downloads. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Brussels, AppTweak manages over 600 accounts in more than 60 countries, including Rocket Internet, FoodPanda, Zalando, Samsung, LinkedIn, Etsy, Merkle, RunKeeper, S4M and Foodora.
He is also the Co-Founder of Wooclap, a user-friendly application to engage live audiences, and 87 Seconds, a creative and dedicated motion design platform.
Olivier acts as a Business Angel at Qualifio and is a professor in Entrepreneurship at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
With 12 years of experience as a marketing specialist and a 6-year stint at various start-ups, Thomas is a passionate practitioner of ASO experiments.
He is a part of the growth team at 8fit, a Top 25 grossing app for health & fitness with over one million users.
Gessica is a computer scientist in love with marketing. She currently leads the performance marketing team at Blinkist, a mobile learning startup that offers key insights from non-fiction books.
She has been working in digital for 7+ years at startups, agencies and big companies, combining her analytical skills and IT background with her passion for marketing.
Alex Austin is the CEO and co-founder of Branch, the leading mobile linking company that seamlessly connects brands with their app users across all channels.
Alex founded Branch in 2014 with three other co-founders while attending the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Branch was born from the challenges the co-founders faced as they struggled to maintain the growth of the previous venture, Kindred Prints, a mobile photobook printing app. Alex built the first deep linking SDK to connect their app with end users more easily. Branch has since evolved into a robust mobile linking platform with cross-channel solutions for businesses of all sizes to drive app installs and user engagement.
Prior to founding Branch, Alex held engineering roles at NASA Ames and Miasole with multiple patents and research papers under his name. Alex has received an MS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Stanford. Alex occasionally contributes guest posts for publications like TechCrunch, VentureBeat, and TheNextWeb.
Waldo is the Product Manager for the product design and app team, and responsible for app growth at Lesara, a pioneer in agile retail in the eCommerce industry. His team is responsible for driving engagement, retention and conversion for the Android and iOS native apps. Founded in 2013, Lesara is now active in 24 countries with over 100,000 fashion and lifestyle trend products.
Formerly employed as a Business Analyst at Zalando, Waldo applies his data-driven approach to product development. He believes that analytics combined with user-centered design is a valuable tool for prioritization, evaluation and decision making.
Pietro helps app developers across the UK, Germany, Italy and Israel grow their user base and make the most out of their apps through Google solutions: acquiring new users, retaining them and maximizing their revenue.
Marina is in charge of Growth at Mimi Hearing Technologies, an mHealth company with the mission to develop smartphone based tools for people around the world to hear better.
She has 9 years of international marketing experience, ranging from large corporations to agencies and startups.
Prior to Mimi, Marina was responsible for international user growth strategy at FAMILO, Europe’s most popular location messenger app.
Bastian is responsible for focusing on the DACH region at Liftoff, a performance-based mobile user acquisition and retargeting technology company. As a 7-year veteran of the performance marketing industry, he has helped a variety of clients grow their mobile business in Europe and Asia across verticals such as eCommerce, travel, retail and gaming. In his current role as Client Partner, Bastian is transforming the way mobile app marketers acquire and retain users.
Before joining Liftoff, he spent several years at Glow Digital Media, growing through the ranks from Account Manager to Director of APAC. Bastian has lived in Berlin, Singapore, and is currently based in London.
Lior is a Senior Marketing Analyst at Zalando, where he is transforming data into meaningful and actionable insights.
Prior to Zalando, Lior held marketing roles at LOVOO and Nielsen.
Matthaus has an extensive knowledge of the mobile ecosystem and likes to share his insights with others about the power of data.
He began his career at Spreadshirt as a Business Unit Leader and acted as Conference Co-Chair of MobileBeat and Mobile Summit by VentureBeat.
Matthaus co-founded Priori Data, an app analytics company and Xyo, an app search engine. He is now running Salisbury Ventures while heading Tenjin’s Berlin office as the Platform Director.
Ekaterina is responsible for App Store & Search Engine Optimization, mobile SEO and app indexing at Rocket Internet.
Daniel Peris is the CEO and Co-Founder of PickASO and TheTool – the first performance-based ASO tool developed in Spain by specialists with more than 10 years of experience in digital marketing and startups.
Daniel has been working in SEO since 2007 and ASO since 2013 and has optimized over 300 apps across different verticals including banking, retail, entertainment and gaming.
Gianluca Segato is the founder of Uniwhere, a mobile app for university students that currently counts 120,000 active users in 55 Italian universities.
Over the past two years, Uniwhere has been featured in prominent Italian and German media and in industry-related publications. The company’s headquarters are in Berlin, while the development team is located in Venice.
Gianluca graduated in Economics and Management and is skilled in machine learning, artificial intelligence and mobile development. The Italian Embassy in Germany awarded him the title of Italian of the Year for 2016.
Richard Buettner is the founder of App Marketing Agentur and has worked in app marketing ever since the beginning of the market back in 2009. He has run countless campaigns focusing on performance-based user generation and effective app monetisation.
Richard previously worked in senior positions for Microsoft, Yahoo, Microsoft and IBM as well as fostering innovative mobile startups in the London tech scene.
Denys has spent the last 10 years transforming Readdle from a “garage start-up” into a leading software company that creates the best productivity apps on the Apple platform. With 65 million organic downloads, millions of daily users, numerous industry awards and much love from the community, Readdle aims to solve much bigger problems in tech such as personal assistants and collaborative email management.
The current Readdle portfolio includes Spark, Scanner Pro, PDF Expert, Documents, Calendars 5 and Printer Pro.
Denys has been successfully leading marketing activities and business development at Readdle from day one.
Christian started his mobile marketing career at Delivery Hero in Berlin. His initial focus was on the mobile media buying side when he was in charge of performance app marketing for the German market brands of Delivery Hero. Subsequent roles included responsibility for mobile CRM and product management for the company’s international app business.
After several years working in the Berlin startup-scene Christian co-founded Customlytics in early 2016 with former Delivery Hero colleague Raul Truckenbrodt. Customlytics provides hands-on guidance for all topics around mobile app marketing, analytics and technology.
Giulia is responsible for App Store Optimization (ASO) at Zalando. After gaining almost a decade of experience in offline and online marketing, on both the agency and client side, she landed at Zalando following her passion for mobile marketing, grown along with her love for the city of Berlin.
Daniel is the CEO and Co-Founder of Bamboo, a direct-response, creative-obsessed paid social advertising agency in San Francisco. Companies like Dropbox, Microsoft, The New York Times and Uber partner with Bamboo to help scale their Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest advertising programs effectively. Daniel has been a mobile marketer since 2011 and loves building highly effective growth programs.
Coming from a 25-year background in senior management in the mobile, tech and gaming industry, Tony has an excellent track record as a successful entrepreneur, CEO and investor.
Over the past 10 years Tony has raised over $15m in VC funding and recently had a successful ICO (Initial Coin Offering) raising funding for a new AR mobile combat game called Reality Clash that uses its own cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Tony also launched GamesGRABR, a social network for gamers described by BBC Click as ‘like Pinterest for gamers’ and named a top 25 UK company by Mashable.
Previously, Tony was the CEO and co-founder of Player X. He spearheaded the company from a two-person startup in 2004 and developed it into Europe’s largest mobile games distributor. Library House named Player X as the fourth fastest growing VC-backed company in the UK before Spanish mobile content company Zed acquired it in 2009.
Tony is also the co-founder of an executive networking event called the Centurions that is aimed at the digital entertainment industry and takes place every two months in London along with events in New York, Istanbul, Berlin, and Munich.
Jacques has been working in digital marketing for 10 years, focusing on helping mobile apps to grow for the past 5. He has run user acquisition and retention for various eCommerce, communication and lifestyle apps.
Jacques is currently growing the user base for Wallapop, a mobile marketplace app that helps people to buy and sell nice things nearby.
Clara enjoys building strategic relationships with leading companies in the mobile space. As Director of Sales DACH at AppsFlyer, she is focusing on expanding AppsFlyer’s footprint in the DACH region and helping app marketers understand where they spend their most effective marketing dollar.
Clara previously lead the business developments efforts at Fyber and Fuse Powered in San Francisco where she was responsible for driving adoption of new ad technologies in North America.
Michał is the Product Manager of Voluum, a powerful analytics platform for performance marketers. With more than 3,800 customers on board, Voluum has tracked over 25 billion events in the last year. Michał uses his software engineering background to understand performance marketers’ needs and craft best-tailored solutions for them.
Michał is a fierce growth hacker, passionate about big data, cloud solutions and everything related to digital marketing. Before he devoted himself to digital marketing, Michał was involved in IT projects in finance and HR.
James co-founded App Promotion Summit in 2013. Previously, he was The Guardian’s Head of Strategy and worked as a strategy consultant to the world’s leading media and telecoms organisations.
James holds a BA in History from the London School of Economics and an MA in Management from Durham University.
Oliver is a noted growth hacker and mobile marketing guru and has helped app companies ranging from indies to market giants like Rovio and Wargaming. In his more than 20 years in marketing and advertising he has marketed hundreds of casual, core and MMO games in the online and mobile space.
Currently he is responsible for growth at Kuuhubb OY, a Finnish investment company and serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Nottingham-based Lockwood Publishing, the creator of the virtual 3D world Avakin Life. He also acts as board advisor and mentor for a number of mobile games companies.
Previously, Oliver worked for many years as a consultant in mobile marketing where he kickstarted mobile UA for companies such as MAG Interactive, flaregames, EightPixelSquare and Hutch Games and worked with great teams at ProSieben, Rovio, Wargaming, Next Games and others. Before that he held leadership positions at iQU, Jagex and IPlay/Oberon Media.
Alexei Chemenda is the US Managing Director of Adikteev Group. Adikteev is a mobile marketing company, driven by a machine learning technology, offering answers all along the conversion funnel: branding, performance, users acquisition and retention.
Alexei joined Adikteev in 2015 following its acquisition of MotionLead, a company he co-founded. MotionLead is a Y Combinator-backed ad tech company that helps advertisers grow their audience.
He splits his time every month between Berlin, New York and Paris where Adikteev is located.
Sandra Wu is a performance marketer who specializes in content marketing. She currently works at Blinkist, a reading app that delivers the essence of big ideas from nonfiction books in minutes.
Having collaborated with several apps in the fitness, education and eCommerce industry, Sandra is eager to share her insights on this unique approach to user acquisition.
Raul’s mobile marketing career began in 2014 at pizza.de, the market leader at that time for online food delivery in Germany. He was responsible for product marketing and development of the Android and iOS apps. When pizza.de was acquired by Delivery Hero Raul relocated to Berlin and held roles in mobile app tracking, analytics and data warehousing. He was responsible for setting and rolling out standards and best practices across all Delivery Hero ventures at a global scale.
Raul co-founded Customlytics in early 2016 with former Delivery Hero colleague Christian Eckhardt, where he is now concerned with everything related to app marketing from a technical perspective.
Patrick founded Priori Data in 2013 after working for a decade on the consumer side of market data.
As an analyst in the investment banking division at Morgan Stanley in New York City, he analyzed large volumes of data to assist in M&A, IPO, leverage buyouts and debt financing transactions. Later, as a Senior Associate at Vestar Capital Partners, a private equity fund, he relied on data to identify, evaluate and execute private equity investments across the U.S. and Western Europe.
Patrick holds a BA in Political Science and Spanish from Middlebury College in Vermont and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
Dr Florian Plenge is the Co-Founder and CEO of Berlin-based startup Skoove, a piano-learning platform that analyses, through a computer’s microphone, whether music students are hitting the right notes. Since its launch in November 2015, Skoove (a product of Microsoft Ventures Berlin accelerator) has provided over 200,000 lessons to consumers learning piano, from beginners to players with existing experience, in 187 countries.
With over 10 years of experience in the music industry, including multiple roles at Native Instruments (a leading manufacturer of software and hardware for music production and DJing), Florian co-founded Skoove with his colleague Stephan Schulz in 2014. The pair identified the need for Skoove by noticing a clear gap in the music education market that was not being met by existing online tuition methods. As CEO, Florian’s personal passion for making things entertaining and easy plays a key role in bringing Skoove’s goal to life – making music education fun, effective and accessible to everyone.
Elena is a User Acquisition & Growth Specialist at Wooga, a Berlin-based developer of casual mobile games. In her role she is in charge of connecting players with high quality mobile games across the company’s portfolio.
Elena holds a Master of Science in Digital Media focused on VR & AR. She also acts as Co-Organizer of “Women Who Go”, a non-profit that provides free programming classes for underrepresented groups in tech.
Pablo Penny is a consultant at the mobile growth consultancy Phiture. He has conducted ASO for clients such as Skyscanner, Axel Springer and Idagio. He also conducts mobile research to develop more analytical ASO methods and mobile growth strategies.
Pablo holds a PhD in innovation management from the University of Westminster where he researched startups and lectured on entrepreneurship. He has experience in tech and strategy consulting and is passionate about growing startups and other businesses through mobile strategy, data analytics and ASO.
George is ASO manager at Shpock, one of the most downloaded classifieds apps across Europe. Launched in 2012, the startup has led the trend of mobile second hand shopping in Germany and Austria before creating a similar impact in the United Kingdom, Italy, Sweden and Norway. Shpock’s mission is to build the best marketplace for the smartphone generation.
With more than 12 years of working experience in different multinational organizations such as the UN, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Zalando, Nielsen and GFK, George has successfully conceptualized, developed and led marketing & sales initiatives. During his time at Zalando he was involved in ASO projects for several of the company’s apps, leading to significant visibility, conversion rate and installs growth on Google Play/App Store. At Coca-Cola George was running category management projects for the Russian subsidiary, leading to sales growth in modern trade. At Microsoft he was heavily involved with marketing activity optimization of the Russian subsidiary, leading to significant savings.
George is passionate about ASO and believes that it is the present and future of mobile growth.
Tamara is a Senior Product Manager for Mobile at DeutschlandCard, a division of Bertelsmann. DeutschlandCard operates a bonus program that was launched in 2008 and has more than 20 million subscribers.
Previously, Tamara was in charge of app marketing at Stylight, Europe’s leading destination for shoppable inspiration. Before joining Stylight she was responsible for mobile marketing at kaufDA, a leading German site for local search.
Guillermo Gallardo is ASO Manager at PickASO, the first ASO & app marketing agency in Spain. He has been involved in the ASO implementation for more than 50 apps (from well known startups to big brands) that accumulate millions of users and installs.
Peggy Anne Salz is the Lead Analyst and Founder of MobileGroove, providing analysis, custom research and strategic content marketing to the global mobile industry, and mentoring and consulting to tech startups.
She has written 9 books about mobile, including The Everything Guide To Mobile Apps (published by F+W).
Christoph is the founder and CEO of Talon.One, a powerful API that enables businesses to build the most advanced incentivized marketing campaigns in the world.
Prior to Talon.One, Christoph founded food delivery service Lieferando. He sold Lieferando to Takeaway.com for €100 million in 2014.
He is also a co-founder of RapidApe, a service that analyses and monitors the success of TV campaigns to understand the relationship between TV and web. The German mass media company ProSiebenSat.1 acquired RapidApe in 2015.
David Montiel is the CEO and creator of Beelinguapp, an award winning and Google’s “Editors Choice” Language Learning app and one of the top 5 language learning apps in the Android Market. Beelinguapp has reached 450,000 organic users on its first year. It was built as a side project by David and remains so at the moment.
David previously worked at Google and LinkedIn as a software developer and is currently Senior Android developer at eBay, building the eBay Kleinanzeigen app.
Florian is the founder of bundle, a new, innovative and secure messenger app solution for the German and international market.
